Verhaltensregeln für Frauen während der WM 2006

Hausordnung in der Zeit vom 09.06. bis 09.07.06

§ 1 In der Zeit vom 09.06 bis 09.07.06 ist der Mann absoluter Herrscher über
TV-Gerät und dazugehörige Fernbedienung.

§ 2 Die Ehefrau/Freundin beschäftigt sich in dieser Zeit stumm mit häuslichen
Arbeiten.

§ 3 Vor jedem Spiel ist dem Mann eine Kiste mit kühlem Bier neben den
Fernsehsessel zu stellen. Wobei die Betonung auf kühl liegt.

§ 4 Während eines Spieles ist der Frau der Aufenthalt im Fernsehzimmer
strengstens untersagt.

§ 5 In der Halbzeitpause besteht für die Frau ein 15-minütiges
Betretungsrecht, um den Aschenbecher zu leeren und leere Getränkeflaschen
durch frisch gekühlte volle Flaschen zu ersetzen. Bei Bedarf können diverse
Knabbereien gereicht werden. Das Rascheln mit Tüten ist zu unterlassen. Der
Gebrauch verbaler Kommunikation ist zu unterlassen.

§ 6 Spätestens 30 Minuten vor Beginn eines Spieles ist dem Mann eine mit
Liebe zubereitete Mahlzeit zu reichen. Um die mentale Spielvorbereitung des
Mannes nicht zu stören, ist auch in dieser Zeit die Schnatterluke geschlossen
zu halten.

§ 7 Während der WM sind jegliche Handlungen, die der Fortpflanzung dienen könnten, zu unterlassen. Ebenso zu unterlassen ist das Tragen von Kleidung,
die beim Mann das Verlagen nach solchen Handlungen auslösen könnte.

§ 8 Sollte der Mann in seinem Großmut der Frau gestatten, die eine oder
andere Minute einen Blick auf das Spiel zu werfen, sind Zwischenrufe sowie
Fragen, die den fußballtechnischen Intellekt der Frau verraten würden (z.B.:
"Was ist Abseits?") unbedingt zu unterlassen. Mit einem körperlichen Verweis
bewehrt sind solche Bemerkungen wie z. B. "Ach, der Beckham sieht aber heute wieder gut aus."

Liebe Frauen, wenn ihr euch an diese minimalen Verhaltensregeln haltet, wird
es euch euer Mann damit danken, dass er versuchen wird
a) kein Bier zu verschütten
b) nicht jeden Quadratzentimeter im Umkreis von 3 Metern um seinen
Trainerstuhl (= Fernsehsessel) vollzubröseln
c) beim Verzehr der unter § 6 genannten Mahlzeiten euch nicht ständig an
die kulinarischen Fähigkeiten seiner Mutter zu erinnern

Roxy Music reform with Brian Eno

They're making a new album

Roxy Music are working on their first album of new material with their original line-up for more than 30 years.
The band's last album was 'Avalon' in 1982, but this new effort will be the first to feature Brian Eno since 1973.
All five original members of the group - Bryan Ferry, Andy MacKay, Phil Manzanera, Paul Thompson and Eno are involved, reports Ananova.
The band, who rose to fame in the early Seventies glam rock era, have been recording with producers Rhett Davies and Chris Thomas although no release date for the album has yet been set.
Roxy Music first reunited in 2001, and last year got together for a series of concerts including the Isle Of Wight festival. Eno was not present in the line-up at any of those shows.
More concerts are planned for this year in Europe although dates and venues have yet to be confirmed.
Ferry quit the band in 1983 to go solo, while Eno went onto release his own acclaimed solo albums and become one of the world's most in-demand producers working with U2, Talking Heads and James among others.

Set in the not-too-distant future, and during a second Holocaust, a mentally handicapped black man with a funny voice (morgan freeman) makes friend's with a young gay, HIV positive, struggling writer falsely accused of paedophilia (jude law). The young gay man is represented by a charismatic female lawyer (emily watson) who is being sexually harrassed by her sleazy and racist boss (hugh grant.) emily watson has cause to concern regarding her daughter Charlie too (maggie gyllenhaal) who is considering a sex change. in a cleverly interwoven plot, using all the skills you have ever been embarrassed to see a director use, these individuals lives are connected through coincidence. Charlie (now charles) has her sex change op. and it is a success. hugh grant is also fired from his job. meanwhile, the case goes to trial, HOWEVER, it seems that the guilt of the young gay man has already been pre-decided in the Trial by Media that follows. They demand the death penalty!Morgan Freeman, through a combination of charm and naivety, manages to track down the real paedophile (played to perfection by Christopher Walken) and understands that the man is really quite confused and sensitive underneath. Ultimately, however, Truth prevails. It ends with Jude Law being acquitted of the paedophilia charges after a riveting jury-deliberation scene (that guy from Sideways playing Head Juror.) it thus seems that alls well that ends well. Jude Law, however, ultimately and tragically contracts fully blown AIDS. It seems that the big nasty pharmaceutical corporations have refused to allow him to try out a new and improved drug to control the HIV because he cannot afford to pay for it. He thus commits suicide just as the Holocaust ends. emily watson, maggie Gyllenhall and Morgan Freeman discover and weep over his decomposing body as frogs fall from the sky and the end credits roll on screen. The soundtrack is composed by Chris martin.
THE MORAL: racism, sexism, the death penalty, greedy pharmaceutical companies and the Holocaust are BAD, paedophiles are people too, and gay people, transsexuals and the mentally ill are GOOD.

Indie Pop
General term that refers to alternative pop bands that embraces the basic tenets of Pop songwriting but filters them through the warped sensibilities of Indie Rock.

Indie Rock
General term that refers to alternative rock bands that refuses to become mainstream after Nirvana's success, they chose to stay in independent labels. Not all of the music sounds the same, but nearly every indie rock band is based in post-punk guitar rock.

Industrial Metal

Lo Fi

Experimental form of Rock mixing Noise, Free Jazz and Electronica.

Punk Hardcore
The most rigid and extreme variation of punk rock. Emerging in the early '80s, it was fast paced with shouted vocals and a crude sound. Most of the bands with time, left the sound of hardcore behind, but not its ideals.

Punk Pop
A post-grunge strand of alternative rock that combines power-pop melodies and chord changes with speedy punk tempos and loud guitars.

Emerging in the 90's Punk Revival bands were all traditionalists, keeping alive the sounds and styles of 77's Punk groups but with a heavier sound (signs of the time).

Queercore
Punk subgenre that differs by its lyrics, which explore openly themes of prejudice, oppression, and same-sex attraction.

Rap Metal
Fusion of the most aggressive elements of Hip-Hop and Heavy Metal.
(Rage against the machine, Limb bizkit, Kid Rock )
Riot Grrrl
Subgenre of Indie Rock and Punk Rock that is distinguished by its radical feminist lyrics and its raw, willfully amateurish musical attack.
(Bratmobile, Sleater-kinney, Le tigre, Bikini kill).
Sadcore
Primarily an extension of Independent Rock, Sadcore is slow, fragile and gut-wrenching music made by and for the depressed. Themes of heartbreak, loss, and misery dominate the lyrics, and the music itself is resolutely downbeat.

SkatePunk
Not so different musically from Punk Revival, it's difference lies in the cultural background, it's the rock music of skateboarders.

Slowcore
Soft melodies shrouded in thick, dark atmospheres. Similar to Sadcore, Slowcore's concerns are far more musical than lyrical.

Space Rock
Hypnotic music defined by washes of heavily reverbed guitar, minimalist drumming, and gentle, languid vocals.
(Spaceman 3, Mogwai, Spiritualized, My bloody valentine, Radiohead).
Trip Hop
Hybrid of Dance-based listening music, Jazz, Funk, and Soul.
(Bjork, Portishead, Massive attack, Tricky, Moby, Fatboy slim, Propellerheads, Cibo matto).
Twee Pop
A Bubblegum Indie Rock: spirit of Punk with a simplicity and innocence not seen since the earliest days of Rock & Roll.

Urban Folk
A movement of singer/songwriters that grew out of punk rock.They performed solos with an acoustic or electric guitar singing often angry lyrics.
